Concord supports an extensive list of optional features covering anything from billing code, custom cover pages to behavior control for individual fax requests.

While Concord's Fax API provides the option to check for fax status through a simple query, developers can also choose to have Concord post status to a developer specified URL (push notifications) or specify an e-mail address to deliver a status notification.

Concord's Inbound Fax Web Services also provide a number of options for the transmission of received faxes to a customer application.

Developers have the option to have Concord's Web Services automatically post received faxes to a URL provided by the account holder or retrieve faxes on demand using web services function calls.

Received faxes are continuously synchronized between Concord data centers, so faxes are always available regardless of which data center received and processed the actual fax call, ensuring exceptional uptime and high availability.

Account Management Web Service

In addition to Web Services functions for sending and receiving faxes, Concord also provides a comprehensive API to manage users, departments, and default behaviors, such as enforced custom cover pages, etc.

The Account Management Web Services allow developers to dynamically create new accounts, request and assign fax numbers and manage all common attributes of a Concord Fax Online account.

The API further allows access to detailed transaction history information, reporting data and billing information for simple integration of activity history information and billing data into external systems.

To enable developers to get going and testing immediately, Concord provides ready to use well documented sample code for commonly used development environments.
